Genealogist helps army identify remains of an airman killed in 1946

Megan Smolenyak, an incredibly talented genealogist was involved in tracing the identity of airman Staff Sgt. Zoltan Dobovich.  “To link remains to an individual, the military relies on matches of mitochondrial DNA, which passes from the maternal line.
